In English class we watched the movie Kite Runner, and we were supposed to see if they used the quotes we had written about in the movie.
I choose this paragraph, and listened closely to hear if they used it in the movie:
Hassan and I fed from the same breasts. We took our first steps on the same lawn in the same yard. And, under the same roof, we spoke our first words.
Mine was Baba.
His was Amir. My name.
But they did not use this quote in the movie. I think this is a important paragraph that should have been in the film, but I guess the film used another paragraph to describe these relationships (between Amir and Baba, and between Amir and Hassan) and showed it in another way.Anyways, I liked the movie and thought it was a touching and good movie! Definitely a movie you should watch :)
